Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

A Flexible Yet Focused Approach to Recovery

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured treatment option designed for individuals who require more support than standard outpatient care but do not need 24-hour supervision. It provides a balanced blend of intensive therapy and the flexibility to continue with daily responsibilities such as work, school, or family obligations.

IOP is ideal for clients stepping down from inpatient care or those whose condition is stable but still need ongoing therapeutic intervention. This program empowers clients to apply recovery tools in real-life settings while staying connected to professional care and peer support.

Clients attend multiple therapy sessions per week, including individual counseling, group therapy, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention. Treatment plans are personalized based on each client’s needs, progress, and goals, and may include family involvement and case management support.

What Intensive Outpatient Program Includes:

  • Therapeutic Sessions (3–5 Days a Week): Structured schedules with regular group therapy, individual counseling, and workshops focused on recovery, emotional regulation, coping skills, and relapse prevention.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Morning, afternoon, or evening sessions to accommodate work, education, or family commitments.

  • Continued Mental Health Care: Ongoing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients with co-occurring mental health conditions.

  • Family Involvement: Family counseling and support sessions to repair relationships, improve communication, and strengthen the recovery environment at home.

  • Life Skills and Recovery Education: Training in stress management, communication, problem-solving, nutrition, and self-care to support a healthy, independent lifestyle.

  • Drug Screening and Progress Monitoring: Regular monitoring to ensure accountability and evaluate client progress toward treatment goals.
